Fundraisers and/or Events
Annual Campaign: This is the Community Foundation’s annual fundraising effort to support operations and grantmaking to help fulfill our mission.
Charitable Giving Awards: The annual Charitable Giving Awards, in partnership with TOWN magazine and Community Journals, is the Community Foundation’s signature event. We host this special evening to honor our donors and recognize outstanding individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations that provide civic leadership and exemplary service to our community.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities at the Community Foundation include serving as a member of our board of directors or on various committees. These volunteers are chosen for their extensive knowledge of the community’s educational, cultural, civic and charitable needs and make lasting contributions to the future of Greenville through their participation.
Giving Opportunities
Give to our Annual Campaign: By donating, you provide resources to respond quickly to the greatest needs in Greenville County. Funding supports nonprofit organizations throughout the county that address needs in the areas of arts, education, environment, health and human services.
Establish a Fund: The foundation offers a variety of charitable funds including donor-advised, field-of-interest, designated, endowment and scholarship funds. These are great ways to support causes you care about, making your charitable giving simple and effective.
Legacy Society: Become a part of the Legacy Society by arranging for a planned gift to any fund held at the Community Foundation. You can create a lasting charitable legacy to ensure good causes have the resources needed for years to come.
Impact Investing: Use your charitable-giving capital to make loans and other investments in the community through venture-philanthropy services.
