Mission Statement
Pendleton Place’s mission is to keep children safe and support families in crisis through prevention, assessment and intervention.
Our vision is that children and youth are safe, families are whole and communities are strong.
Founded in 1975 as an emergency shelter for children entering foster care, Pendleton Place has adapted and evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. Currently our programs focus on services for teenagers in foster care, youth and young adults experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness, and families seeking support and stability. Our programs not only provide basic needs but also independent living skills, case management and resource navigation to promote long-term stability and successful independence.
Impact
In 2023-2024, Pendleton Place was a home for 18 teenagers in foster care and 25 youth in emergency shelter, provided 124 youth experiencing homelessness with services ranging from basic needs to housing, and supported 86 families including kinship caregivers and households at risk of housing instability.

Fundraisers and Events
Pendleton Place is fortunate to participate in a variety of fundraising events annually, offering opportunities for supporters to get involved by attending, donating auction items, sponsoring or volunteering. Volunteer Opportunities
