The more than six-acre vacant property is located at the corner of Church Street and Haynie Street, just south of the $1.1 billion, 40-acre Greenville County Square redevelopment.
The fiberoptic broadband service provider’s donation was used to build a ramp for a local Mauldin homeowner that would allow them to safely access their home.
To receive the funding, the city must submit an annual action plan and a five-year consolidated plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
