Project Hope Foundation received a $50,000 donation from Lonza Capsugel toward the ongoing construction of its new clinic in Greenwood.
A check presentation was held on April 7 at the local nonprofit’s new clinic on the Greenwood Genetic Center Partnership Campus. Project Hope Foundation is the largest nonprofit autism service provider in South Carolina, operating nine locations across the Upstate and Lakelands.
“This gift represents more than just funding – it reflects a meaningful connection between our organizations,” said Lisa Lane, co-founder of Project Hope Foundation. “We appreciate Lonza Capsugel’s shared commitment to supporting families impacted by autism in our community.”
Lonza Capsugel, a global manufacturing company, operates a 167-acre campus in Greenwood that employs more than 700 people. Holly Brown, an employee at Lonza Capsugel, shared her family’s experience with Project Hope Foundation during the check presentation.
“When we got our son’s autism diagnosis, we felt hopeless,” Brown said. “We didn’t know where to go, what to do, or how to help him. We are so grateful for the people who led us to Project Hope Foundation, because now we have a lot of hope for his future.”
