The Greenville Police Department and local nonprofit Project Host are partnering with Bon Secours Wellness Arena for a “Fill the Cruisers” food drive May 12.
Community members can bring nonperishable food and essential items from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in support of Project Host’s soup kitchen and GPD’s Officer Allen Jacobs Summer Camp.
The food and essential items help Project Host support families experiencing hunger throughout Greenville County. Snack donations and supplies will be used for GPD’s summer camp program.
Greenville police officers and Project Host staff members will be on hand at Bon Secours Wellness Arena to accept donations. For a list of items needed for Project Host’s soup kitchen can be found at projecthost.org/soup-kitchen-needs.
GPD Officer Allen Jacob’s Summer Camp needs include bottled water, individually packaged snacks like cookies, chips and gummies, and kid-friendly prizes.
